Classic & Classic Date
Timeless elegance
The R.O.1 Classic embodies the essence of the brand: clean, stylish and uncompromising.
For those who want to combine functionality and aesthetics, there is the Classic Date. This model offers the same refined experience as the Classic, enriched with a subtle date display. A distinctive detail of the Classic Date is the additional subdial at 9 o’clock, where the seconds hand finds its path.
Of course, both the Classic and the Classic Date can be fully personalised to align seamlessly with your taste.
Sport
Dynamism in every detail
The R.O.1 Sport is developed for the wearer with an active lifestyle, without compromising on luxury. The dial and hands are adapted for a dynamic presence.
The sporty strap, with a refined carbon look and a comfortable natural rubber inner lining, completes the whole.
As you may expect from an R.O.1, this model is extremely shock-resistant. The Sport edition can also be fully configured to your wishes, so the watch matches your unique character.
Exclusivity as Standard
Luxury is scarce. The first series of the R.O.1 is limited to just 309 pieces worldwide. Each watch carries a unique number, underscoring the rarity of your possession.
The movement
The beating heart
Inside ticks an automatic Swiss top-tier movement: the calibre Valjoux 7750, regulated to the strictest chronometer standards. This piece of mechanics is not only precise, but also a delight to the eye.
The mainplate is finished, rhodium-plated and adorned with guilloché patterns. Blued screws and a polished, gilt balance testify to an eye for detail.
All parts of the watch case are assembled with refined screw threads, guaranteeing absolute water resistance after assembly.
Innovation
The Shock-System®
Years of knowledge, experience and craftsmanship resulted in the patented R.O. Watches Shock-System®.
In this worldwide innovation, the movement 'floats' in a ring connected to the watch case via three special Shock-Swing springs. These springs, made of specially vulcanised rubber, absorb external shocks with exceptional effectiveness.
Unique is that these springs are adjustable from the outside for optimal tuning. A technical feat unmatched in the world of watchmaking.
Our own atelier
Craftsmanship and Service
R.O. Watches is not a factory, but an atelier. Our background in goldsmithing ensures a top-level finish and an eye for detail that mass production cannot achieve. Every watch is built, inspected and perfected by hand in the Netherlands.
Most of the exclusive finishing takes place in our own atelier. Although the quality of an R.O. Watch is unequalled, maintenance remains essential for a lifetime of wearing pleasure.
Annual check
We check your watch for water resistance free of charge every year.
Service
A full service is required only once every four years. This is carried out in-house by our experts, so you have your watch back quickly.
Alongside our own creations, we also specialise in the maintenance and repair of renowned brands such as IWC, Omega, Breitling, Rolex, Cartier and TAG Heuer.
The (precious) metals
Material choice of the highest order
Steel
Crafted from stainless steel of the highest grade. Durable, scratch-resistant and with a timeless presence.
Gold
We use an 18-carat (750/000) rose-gold alloy. This unique alloy was developed in our own atelier and offers an unmatched warm glow and deep lustre.
The R.O.1 is also crafted in platinum, for the ultimate luxury experience.
Details
Perfection down to the last detail
The distinction lies in the details.
Crystal
The dial is protected by scratch-resistant, domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on one side for optimal readability. The transparent case back is also sapphire crystal, so you can admire the mechanics.
Controls
The chronograph pushers are an in-house development, fitted with double gaskets for water resistance of at least 5 ATM. On the gold and platinum versions, these pushers and the crown are also crafted entirely from precious metal.
Strap
Every strap is handcrafted from the finest crocodile leather. The edges are specially coated against moisture and the inner lining is finished with skin-friendly dermaphil leather for ultimate wearing comfort.
