Warranty
Every R.O. Watch is delivered with a comprehensive factory warranty. We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship and give you the assurance that your timepiece has been made and tested with the greatest care.
Factory warranty
All R.O. Watches are delivered with a two-year factory warranty from the date of purchase.
What is covered
The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and craftsmanship of the movement, case and original strap. This includes defective parts, water-resistance issues under normal use, and faults in the mechanical movement.
Warranty certificate
Upon purchase you receive an official warranty certificate with the unique serial number of your watch. Keep this certificate carefully; it is required for any warranty claims.
Registration
We register every sold watch in our system. This allows us to support you optimally with service and maintenance, even after the warranty period ends.
Warranty conditions
To be eligible for warranty, the following conditions must be observed:
Normal use
The watch must have been used under normal conditions and in accordance with the enclosed instructions for use.
Authorised service
Repairs or modifications may only be carried out by R.O. Watches or our authorised service partners. Unauthorised interventions void the warranty.
Original parts
The watch must be fitted exclusively with original R.O. Watches parts. Replacement with non-original parts voids the warranty.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Careless use, accidents or impacts that exceed normal resistance
- Exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture or chemicals beyond normal use
- Normal wear of parts such as straps, crown, gaskets and crystal
- Repairs or modifications by unauthorised parties
- Theft, loss or damage by third parties
Lifelong service
Even after the warranty period ends, R.O. Watches remains there for you. We offer lifelong service support for all watches in our collection.
Free water-resistance check
Every year we check your watch for water resistance free of charge in our atelier in Heerlen. This service is available to all R.O. Watches owners, regardless of the age of the watch.
Complete service
We recommend a full service once every four years. Our watchmakers dismantle, clean and oil the movement and check the Shock-System® for optimal performance.
Original parts
For repairs we use exclusively original R.O. Watches parts. This way the integrity and value of your watch are preserved.
Transparent maintenance
We apply a fixed rate for our Full Service work. This rate excludes the cost of parts, which may vary per individual watch.
